"A psycho-sexual thriller of a woman possessed."

In a small rural farm town, a psycho in a ski mask is killing women with a pair of scissors. One lonely night, a religious woman named Ingrid is attacked by the psycho and this causes her to hallucinate odd things and remember bad memories from her childhood. Now, who is the psycho in a ski mask? Well, it could be the biddy eyed butcher that seems to be in lust with Ingrid. Or it could be the new guy in town. Or! It could be Ingrid's uncle that 'keeps to himself' and is never seen by others. As more women get killed, Ingrid goes crazier.

I love Haunts. It's creepy and very interesting from start to finish. The movie goes by slow but that doesn't make it boring, it just makes the mood of the movie very unsettling and creepy. The music score in the movie is beautifully creepy, it is composed by the awesome Pino Donaggio. Don't know who Pino is? Remember Carrie? Remember that creepy music in Carrie? Well, that was all done by Pino. Expect beautiful and creepy music in Haunts. Now what I really like about Haunts is the way it looks, the setting is amazing and the copy I got reminds of Silent Night, Bloody Night. It's all grainy, old, faded, and sometimes too dark. Ahhh... I love it! It makes me feel like I'm watching the movie at a Drive-In. 8/10.
