Hey Travis Crabtree, why does "The Legend of Boggy Creek" suck?

I remember the first time I ever laid eyes on this movie, it was a long time ago at Wal-Mart and I was looking at that DVD dump box where they have all those cheap priced DVD's. I remember pulling out the Boggy Creek DVD and my mom says "oh, that movie is pretty good. It's about some Bigfoot monster." I thought "Hmm this could be good.." but I didn't get it after all since I got something better (a bag of chips). Then earlier this year, I remembered Boggy Creek and decided to download it, so I did and when I watched it..... I was bored out of my mind! Now don't get me wrong; it's not all that bad at times, but damn, it is very dull and the music is crap! Good Lord...

The Legend of Boggy Creek is a documentary styled movie from the same guy that directed "The Town That Dreaded Sundown". So you're going to hear a narrator (ironically the same one from Dreaded Sundown) telling the story. Through out the movie we see a bunch of interviews with people sharing their experiences with the Boggy Creek monster along with reenactments of their experiences. Those scenes are pretty lame but realistic since we don't actually see the Boggy Creek Monster's face (whoa!). From there we get two stupid and annoying music scenes that somewhat involve the lonely Boggy Creek monster (ooh...).

As I said before, Boggy Creek is not all that bad; It's just very boring! It is worth watching if you're curious about the Boggy Creek monster or just something to watch til you fall asleep late at night. 3/10. Watch it for free HERE

Incidentally, the narrator, Vern Stierman, was the weatherman from local tv in Texarkana. LOL.

So...what do I do with the "original" (2) film & reels that I just came across? "The Legend of Boggie Creek" - They are still in the original shipping case that was sent to a movie theater in Corpus Christi, Texas many many years ago. Are they worth any money? I'm doing some research on them right now...

Hi Julie, I recommend selling them on ebay if you got no use for them. Not sure how much they're worth, but most likely they are worth a pretty penny.
